Zendesk Names Norman Gennaro New SVP Worldwide Sales

SAN FRANCISCO – December 20, 2017 – Zendesk, Inc. (NYSE: ZEN) announced today the appointment of Norman Gennaro as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales. Gennaro brings more than 25 years of business and technology experience leading and growing global teams of sales professionals. Most recently, Gennaro built the mid-market segment for North America into a multi-billion dollar business for Amazon Web Services.

Prior to his tenure at Amazon Web Services, Gennaro spent 16 years in enterprise sales with Oracle Corporation. During his time there, he held a variety of leadership roles including Vice President of Oracle’s North American Sales Consulting organization and co-authoring four patents. He holds an MBA in Finance and Computer Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame de Namur and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame.
