Zendesk Announces Best-Selling Author Micah Solomon Will Join Its 2012 Customer Service Hero Tour

SAN FRANCICSO, CA –- May 9, 2012 –- Zendesk (http://www.zendesk.com/), the proven cloud-based help desk software, announced today that it will kick off a multi-city Customer Service Hero Tour in Denver, Austin and Chicago. The series of half-day events are free of charge and will teach attendees the latest in best practices around customer service from Zendesk’s customer service experts, Zendesk customers and keynote speaker, Micah Solomon, the best-selling author behind “High-Tech, High-Touch Customer Service” and “Exceptional Service, Exceptional Profit.”

“The Customer Service Hero Tour is a chance for industry professionals to learn the latest techniques for providing superior customer service in the 21st century, and more importantly, how to know if those techniques are actually working,” said JD Peterson, Vice President of Product Marketing, Zendesk. “We’ve gained some amazing insights from our 15,000+ customers and are thrilled to be sharing best practices in customer service from the experts.”

One lucky attendee from each city tour will win a free trip to Las Vegas to tour Zappos’ world headquarters. Zappos, a Zendesk customer, is known around the world for delivering exceptional customer service.

The first Hero event begins on Tuesday, May 22, at the Hotel Teatro, in Denver, CO. The tour will continue to Austin on Thursday, May 24, at the Parish. On Friday, June 8, the tour will travel to Chicago at the Metropolitan Club. In each city, sessions include:
