AVH Technologies offers innovative solutions to boost productivity and efficiency. One powerful feature within Zendesk is Custom Objects, which allows you to capture additional data related to tickets. However, there currently isn't an easy way to bring that data directly into ticket comments.
That's where the Custom Object Commentator Sidebar App comes in. This app lets you add data from a custom object lookup field (as well as related data from linked lookup objects) directly into Zendesk ticket comments. Whether as an internal or public comment, agents can seamlessly include this object-related data, which can then be shared via notifications or side conversations.
At present, the app supports a single lookup relationship field, which links to one of the Custom Objects you've created. When installing the app, you'll capture the custom field ID and object key in the settings for easy integration.
Please note, the app relies on Zendesk's Custom Objects feature, so your account must have this feature enabled. While Custom Objects are available on all Zendesk Suite plans, some limitations may apply based on your plan.
