Check out our two other Zoom Integrations
With the Zoom Meetings by Faye Integration, resolve customer inquiries faster, simplify workflows and deliver more personalized service.
Certain support inquiries may require a more personal experience such as helping the customer with a physical set-up, recommending a product or taking a look at their environment. In such cases an agent can easily schedule a Zoom Meeting right from within Zendesk.
Having to login to multiple systems is cumbersome and a waste of time for agents. With this integration, instantly launch a new or schedule Zoom meeting right from within Zendesk.
It’s frustrating for agents to not have key context from previous customer interactions as it impacts their ability to help resolve an inquiry. With this integration access all relevant context anytime within Zendesk.
Zendesk has worked with customers to gather feedback and requirements, and played an active role in the design of the product.
Faye built, maintains, and supports this integration and your use is governed by the agreement provided by Faye.
Please contact Faye for any integration questions and support.
This integration requires a two part installation:
Apps install directly into your account
I recently installed this app, and ran into what I believe to be the same issue as the reviewer before me. You click 'log in' to Zoom Meetings by Faye from the app in Zendesk > route to Zoom to log in > select SSO > login via Okta > get an error message saying that you don't have permission to access the app. I triple checked all settings, everything is connected correctly and everyone should have access to this app. And this same issue is presenting for all team members who have tried using Zoom Meetings by Faye. I reached out to support. They told me to clear cache and if that didn't work, uninstall and reinstall the app. I did both of those things, same issue. I asked if it was potentially connected to SSO and referenced the issue notated in the reviews. After "talking it over with the dev team" for a few days I finally got a response. I will quote them directly: "We are using the app with SSO and it works accordingly. This could also be due to browser issues, browser plugins, or VPN issues. As the app works as expected when testing on a vanilla instance on our end, there are no additional troubleshooting steps we can take at this moment." I'm not on a VPN. I use two extensions in my browser, no plugins. This app is impossible to log into for my entire team and the we're basically told "it works on my machine" and they will be offering no further assistance. Don't waste your time with this. They certainly won't waste their time helping you if it doesn't work.
Zoom app does not work with Zendesk. If you have Single sign on. The option is to send a request to Zoom App Marketplace, only to never hear from them after many attempts and many months. If you use individual credentials: get rerouted in endless loop to never get Zoom to add a meeting or link in Zendesk ticket.
Hi William, I apologize for the difficulties you've encountered with the application. Would you mind submitting a ticket to support@fayedigital.com with all of the relevant information? We want to make sure this gets addressed and you are taken care of. Thanks so much!
