The Language I/O® Inline Translation app enables support agents to communicate with customers in 100+ languages through Tickets, Messaging, and Chat. The app allows for agents to easily perform inbound and outbound translations directly within Zendesk’s conversation area, with the ability to adjust preference settings from the sidebar. For human translation, we use special tags to let linguists know the data type of the encrypted content, so they can properly translate the text around it. Prior to partnering with Language I/O we did not utlize any text translation service, just whatever native translation tools were available on Google or asking colleagues with language skills. Today, Language I/O is our primary translation service for our e-mail and chat/messaging support intakes. The ability to review and prioritize translations for each supported language is a critical support function. Along with having the ability to define a glossary of words and phrases which provide an approved translation for industry and product specific terms has improved communications between our support team and our clients.
